Janet Reswick Long is the Founder and President of Integrity Search, Inc., (www.integritysearchinc.com) a national executive search firm dedicated to recruiting leaders and innovators in the fields of communications, human resources and marketing. Drawing upon her own rich and varied background in both corporate and agency communications and marketing, Janet started Integrity in 1995 with a commitment to applying the very best practices in communications to the search and hiring process. Integrity Search consults to the technology, financial services, healthcare and consumer products industries, among others, and across the corporate, professional services and non-profit sectors.
Janet is a past President of the Council of Communication Management and recently completed a five-year term on the organization’s Board of Directors. She frequently speaks and writes on strategic career planning and job search for marketing and communications professionals. Janet is the Careers Community Leader at Communitelligence (www.communitelligence.com), a portal devoted to content in the human resources, communications and marketing spaces. She co-developed and led an online seminar series offered through Ragan Communications, taught an interview skills course in the University of Pennsylvania’s adult education program and contributed a chapter to Negotiate Your Job Offer, published by John Wiley and Sons.
Janet is a graduate of the Leadership Inc. Executive Program in Philadelphia. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Delaware County Blind/Sight Center and as a volunteer interview skills coach for the Center for Literacy in Philadelphia. Under the auspices of Integrity Search, she founded “The Integrity Award for Communications Excellence,” a communications scholarship program. She was featured in a CEO Profile published by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Prior to starting Integrity Search, Janet was a principal with the McCormick Group located in Washington, D.C. where she started up and led a recruiting practice specialized in the functional areas of communications and finance. Before entering the executive search field, Janet served as global marketing Director and public relations Manager for a direct-response marketer, The Franklin Mint. Previously, she held creative and account management roles at the public relations division of The Richards Group in Dallas and at Creative Systems Group in Manhattan, supporting such accounts as Mary Kay Cosmetics, Dr Pepper/Seven Up and Burger King Corporation.
A native New Yorker, Janet is a graduate of Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, where she studied English Literature, French and business. She resides in Media, Pennsylvania with her husband and 8-year-old son.
