VETERAN RECRUITERS LAUNCH SPECIALTY SEARCH PRACTICE;
Will Donate Portion of Proceeds to Food Banks

Santa Barbara, CA and Media, PA — Integrity Search Inc. and Carol Carter Executive Search have announced the launch of SustainingJobs, a new search practice dedicated to recruiting communication, marketing and human resource professionals in the food and related industries that are committed to sustainability as a core value. The practice will be co-managed by principals Janet Long and Carol Carter, veteran recruiters with additional roots in the food business.

Janet Long, president of Integrity Search, founded in 1995, has conducted searches for organizations ranging from established food manufacturers such as Campbell Soup to start-up companies such as Bear Naked, recently acquired by the Kashi Cereal brand under the Kellogg’s umbrella. In addition, during her hands-on communication career, Ms. Long provided counsel to such organizations as Burger King Corporation, Steak and Ale and Bennigan’s Restaurants and Dr Pepper/Seven Up.

Carol Carter, principal of Carol Carter Executive Search, founded in 1990, has placed senior executives in the global communication practices of the world’s top-ranked human capital management consulting firms such as Mercer Human Resources Consulting and Watson Wyatt Worldwide. In addition, Ms. Carter founded her own start-up food manufacturing business, WayBack Granola; her products were distributed to both global retail chains such as Whole Foods and to independent food cooperatives in the heart of California granola country.

A key element of the new search practice will be an ongoing contributions program focused on local food banks. To kick off the program, Integrity Search and Carol Carter Executive Search will initially allocate a portion of search proceeds to Philabundance (www.philabundance.org) and the Santa Barbara FoodBank (www.foodbanksbc.org).
